Footprints in the sand

Footprints.....

...indicate direction

... imply movement

... involve togetherness

...includes time

How are we doing?
Where are we going?
With whom?

How is YOUR walk?

You are most welcome. The photo was taken on a recent 'extended family" vist to a California beach. We are a four generation family and purpose to "be" life, together! The footprints are of my oldest daughter and her daughter. Thought you would appreciate knowing...

The blog is a bit of a mystery to me, in that it, seemingly, is not being utilized. Of course your entry has adjusted that thinking! It is interesting to me that when I put the same musings on my facebook there is much interaction! Like you stated, the purpose of the blog is to cause us to pause in this hectic paced world and THINK!! So glad that you are able to do just that. However, if you know anything I should/could be doing to invite more to muse w/ us, I would be very open to your suggetions.

How is life going for you? I believe you and your husband are in specialized Christian service, is that correct? We were in the ministry as pastors for 13 years before the Lord called us overseas. I share your ministry heart.

May you continue to "be" in Him...for HIS glory and your good.
Walking with you,
Ele

Yes we are in ministry - trying to plant a church to reach for people who don't fit in a normal church. The church is called HEAT Worship House - simply google this to find the church website if you are interested. We used electronic music and art to worship God, adding to this multimedia and so on. We are close to the University. It's hard sometimes. We lack support from mentors (both of us - literally). But we persevere because we sensed that God is telling us that He is not done just yet. We are learning too.

The easy way would be to move in the US where this would work... like in Utah we have been told. But right now, we don't sense a call to move there...

I applaud the "Jesus'" in you! He comes through so often!! You are reaching out to others in a way that is meaningful to them. You are close to where they are, out of YOUR own comfort zone. It's difficult at times, perhaps even lonely. You are "out there" on your own, yet you choose to persevere because you are sensitive to GOD'S voice. You are learning. It's not easy....

Reminds me a bit of Phil. 2.....

I think I see a toothbrush in your hand from here....
