Investing in another....
Investing time in another.
Is it really worth it?
We each wake up with 24 hours at our disposal.
Some of that time is already spoken for....
The day-liness of life, work, taking care of yourself....
However, we ALL have time that is "ours" to invest...or squander....
So, how about it?
Is the time we invest in another really worth it?
If so, how?

Yes. It is worth it. Even when I don't "feel" like it is. Right now, as I change diapers, wash dishes, play games, fold laundry, teach and train my children, there are times when I don't "feel" like it, or sadly, "feel" like it's wasted time. But, I "know" the benefits are eternal-- and these are the things I am called to do. I am learning to rely less on my "feelings" and more on my "knowledge" of my LORD.
(By the way, I appreciate the time you invest in this blog. I read each post-- I love the food for thought you provide.) :)
Karly, thank YOU for providing 'food for thought' for US as well!! :) It is good to share, to have interchange, especially when our lives are being lived out in the "quiet corners" of life. I love your perspective, Karly. When we know that all other humans are "part of the play" and that the only One in the "audience" is GOD, the ONE Who really matters, it sure puts "stuff" into proper perspective, doesn't it? Those feelings of "wasted time" are quickly turned into "WHATEVER I do, I do it for GOD'S GLORY" moments! THAT"S the perspective that God desires for HIS children! THAT"S the TRUTH that needs to saturate all of our realities...TODAY!!
